I finished him at last, here's a quick preview! My phone/camera is really messed up, I'll try to get the rest up later if it lets me get eh pictures off. He's made from a wire armature, some polymer baked to hold the joints of that, and Milliput for the sculpting. I don't really have sculpting tools, so I just used a sewing pin for details. He weighs about 13 ounces, so he's pretty heavy. He has LED eyes, and a switch and battery compartment in his belly. He has maybe 72 hours in him total...I'm not sure where it all went, but it's definitely in there. There had to be lots of pauses as Milliput cures with time; the whole thing was done with each wood strip added separately in the end of the project. I probably won't be making another Timberwolf to save my sanity, but I have WIP pictures up in my gallery and I'd be happy to let you know anything about the materials and such.
I also see I have a lot of notes, I'll be replying to them all after baby is fed, changed, bathed and in bed! ^^
Looks great so far! Can't want to see the end product!
wow. just wow. this is so fantastic
A very impressive piece! I love the way you've made the various branches twist together on the body and tail.
Have you possibly gotten my emails? Thanks
Now this right here, is super cool. X3
